Another good visit

We spent Saturday and Sunday with our 'precious threesome' and Jonah was doing well. He continues to improve daily but still has a long way to go before he will be able to go home. Our main prayer is for him to be extubated (removal of ventilator) within the next 2 weeks. They are figuring out the correct amount and types of blood pressure meds for him. He has recently begun laying on his tummy for a different feel and he seems to like it. This also enables him to begin to strengthen his neck muscles. When the ventilator is removed he and his parents will feel much more relieved. His lungs are good but his muscles are weak because he has not been using them very much these past 2 months. They will be working him out before they extubate him. Pray, pray, pray for this sweet little guy's comfort and well-being. He and his mom and dad feel your prayers. Thank you as always, Nancy

What a testamony to prayer to read "his lungs are good"! For friends who have joined in our prayers recently, this is the Miracle boy who was born without lungs and the Doctor's said he could never grow them.
Those of us who have had the privilege of knowing Jonah's father Scotty for his whole life, know that Jonah will shine when it comes to 'working out".

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the continuing miracle we are getting to witness (grateful for technology to "see" from a distance.)
Praying for Jonah...
PROTECT him from infection and harm from side effects of medications
HEAL surgery sites and trauma to delicate tissues from ventilator and dialysis procedures
STRENGTHEN Jonah's muscles, lungs and immune system
GUIDE the medical professionals to the right treatments and procedures
BLESS Scott and Amy with the ability to enjoy each day with Jonah without the burden of worry about finances, ETC.
USE others to meet Scott and Amy's financial needs, and USE Scott, Amy and Jonah to help others see their need for YOU.

Thank you Sheila for your continued prayers and support for Scott, Amy and Jonah. You have no idea how much your comments and prayers mean to all of us. It's so wonderful to know so many are standing in the gap for the family. I know many, many more are watching Jonah's progress and praying for him. Your faith helps all of us so much. Love in Him, Nancy

I'm so glad things are going well - hopefully they are starting to sprint him - tell the kids (all three) I miss them and send them my love. Karen (Jonah's nurse)
