I just spoke with Scott and he said that Jonah is off of fentenol (the pain med) for now, his vent settings are lower, he is up on feeding, and dialysis is working well. We are thanking the Lord for all of this good news and steady improvement.
Jonah is napping today quite a bit because of lack of sleep last night. At about midnight an ambulance hit the hospital and the main water pipe broke which set off the alarms and flashing lights in the NICU as well. This went on until 5:00 a.m. this morning. He is getting some much needed sleep today. Keep up those prayers for this precious threesome, Scott, Amy and Jonah and thank you so much! Nancy

Still watching in amazement! Praising and praying...You are AWESOME GOD! Heavenly Father, I often think about Scott and Amy and how their lives have changed so drastically. While the majority of people who know them go about business as usual, everything has changed for them. Life has a new "normal," but certainly not one they would have chosen. Please give them an extra measure of Your grace and mercy. Life is always bittersweet. Please fill their cups with Your sweetness. Let them "taste and see that the Lord is good" in unexpected ways. May it please You to give them a glimpse of Your glory and show them some of the wonders You are doing through Jonah and their faithful trust in You and their acceptance of Your plan--whatever that may be. How Scott and Amy must love their very special and precious son. I pray that Jonah may live and thrive!
