Successful Dialysis

Praise the Lord, Jonah underwent his surgery to get the dialysis hooked up in vein in his neck. All went well. Thank you for praying. This morning before the surgery when the doctors were having a meeting, one doctor asked the main doctor why he was not more bloated if he was only urinating 10cc's a day. He said "Where is all the fluid going?" He also was asking the head doctor why his numbers were so good with all that he was going through. Normally his potassium level would be high and his is not. The head doctor said, " I don't know, and I'm not asking."

In other words the Lord is answering our many prayers for Jonah, and there is no explanation as to why he is doing as well as he is considering his problems. We know the Lord is good and is taking care of sweet Jonah. He has a plan! It is awesome to see God working in such a practical and 'in your face' way. Jonah is scheduled to have his kidneys out this coming Wednesday if all continues to go well. Please continue to lift him up. Thank you so much! And Thanks be to God, for He is good and His mercy endures forever!

Thank you Lord for this unfolding Miracle. We are humbled by your Grace.

I have lived almost as many decades as Jonah has days and he has touched the souls of a hundred fold more people than I.

How can some deny the Creator and Heavenly Father like we have? It's times like these where we feel how small we are compared to God. He is certainly the Great Physician and has proven so with baby Jonah!!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for watching over Jonah and continue to be with him and his family as I know you will. Thank you thank you for baby Jonah! We love you Lord!!

HI, my name is Veronica Johnson, I don't know if Scott & Amy remember my husband & I from a short time we spent in young marrieds with them from EV Free... Anyway, our son, Landon, spent 4 months in the NICU fighting a battle 3 1/2 years ago. I read your blog with tears as I am very familiar with what Scott & Amy, & baby Jonah are going through. Landon & Jonah's battles are different in some ways, but very similar in others. I just want you to know that I am praying the same prayers & scriptures for Jonah that I prayed for Landon! The Lord was with Landon through it all, & gave him strength that could move mountains, & He is doing the same for Jonah!

Scott and Amy,
This miracle baby Jonah has touched more lives and spoken more thruths than many of us combined. God is showing his enduring grace, wonderful love and mighty hand all in one little child. We love you, pray for you and support you whole heartedly.

Once we believe and are saved, our life purpose is to become more like Christ. Couldn't we do that better if we were with Him and not on this earth? Then there must be some other reason that He leaves us here. Yes, He uses us, sinful as we are, to help rescue others. We do that best by being like Christ, a suffering servant; even though we probably wouldn't choose that to be the way God uses us. Scott and Amy, it would seem that God has chosen you and Jonah to be His suffering servants. While I grieve for all the pain and suffering you have endured, especially before Jonah's birth, I can't help but consider you blessed to be used by God in such a mighty way. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help us all who are watching your story to remember to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING for you, for Jonah, and for God to use you to bring eternal life to many through all of this.
