More news.

Jonah is resting comfortably but is on pain meds for his tracheotomy and some discomfort that he has had for a day or two. He is a bit bloated and they are giving him a sonogram tonight or tomorrow to see what they can find out. Scott and Amy can of course also use our prayers for strength and peace in the midst of "ups and downs". We will keep you updated on his condition.
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear...." Psalm 46:1-2

Precious Jonah, five months old today, miracle baby, miracle-maker God! Our son (also a Scott) is having the time of his life living at Hume Lake (Joshua Wilderness Institute.) We got to see him for the first time since September. Missing him, seeing him (just 24 hours, but such a wonderful time)...emotions are taxing. I CANNOT imagine what Scott and Amy are experiencing as they plead not only for Jonah's health and comfort, but his very life! Thank you, Heavenly Father, for Jonah's life and all that You are doing through him. You created us with and for communication with You and others. I praise You for what is being "spoken" through Jonah, though he himself has not uttered a word. You are Amazing God. May it please You to have great mercy on this faithful couple and their special Jonah. Amen!

Hi
My name is Rich ONeil and I know Barbara West from my work and from current journey with cancer. I want you to know that I am praying for Jonah and ,if it is ok, can i place his blog address on my blog (www.richoneilsblog.blogspot.com so more prayers can come his way? I saw Barbara today and we talked about you. I felt moved to contact you so she gave me your blog address. God is amazing and I know He is there in the PICU every minute. I will contact Judith Brill & Rick Harrison and make sure you are getting VIP treatment:) I'm sure you are as they are wonderful PICU docs and they may rememebr me from long time past. If there is anything I can do please ask Barb for my number and my family will continue to pray for all of you.
