Surgery tomorrow on 10/17
Scott said they will do the surgery tomorrow to replace the tube that he has in now. Please continue to pray for Jonah's comfort and for Scott and Amy to have peace during this trying time. I know there are so many people who read this and are holding them up in thoughts and prayers. We all appreciate this so much and couldn't do this alone. We know the Lord is with us all through all of this, but it's so great to have friends, family and acquaintances comment on the blog and talk to us about Jonah. We know how much you all care! We can feel the love being sent to Jonah and family. He is still in God's hands as he has been since May 14th. Please Pray On!!

God, please flood Scott w/ Your wisdom, Jonah w/ full life, & Amy w/ peace!
Every time I read this blog I get so excited about how God is working in so many people's lives and how Great God is. I know from personal experience how I/we concerntrate on the circumstances and not enough on Jesus. We are told in scripture to put God first and everything else will come together. It is difficult to do sometimes but it is the right thing to do. So "keep your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face and the things on earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace (song)."

Can I just say an "AMEN" to the song written below..I hummed it along all night tonight for Jonah, Scott and Amy. We love you guys. -The Spiveys
I check Jonah's blog daily and keep that sweet little boy in my every prayer. Stay strong and faithful through these difficult times, and know that so many are praying for your family. You're an inspiration!
Amy, Scott and Jonah,
We think about you guys all the time. I think about you especially, Amy, when I'm commuting to and from work, thinking about the time you must spend in the car, in traffic to get to your beloved son. The love you and Scott have for little Jonah is so BIG that its difficult to even explain. Jim and I follow Jonah's blog every day and are so thankful to be able to hear what is going on in his little life so that we know how to pray and also, so that we know how to praise God for the miracles being done in his little life. We love you and know that we think about you and pray for all of you constantly. We're sending something to your friend Gina so look for it. We'd also love to bring you dinner one of these nights.
love to you,
Jim & Kenz
Baby Jonah has so many supporters but you, Scott and Amy, are the ultimate. When I see pictures of him looking at you, I'm sure he can see and feel your faith in him shining through! Like so many comment, you both are an inspiration.

My heart goes out to this family who has spent so much time in the hospital over the past months. They are for certain in my prayers today and for the days to follow. I learned about them through a friend of a friend of theirs. Although I do not know them personally, I can see from this blog that they are amazing people. Jonah is so fortunate to have been born to such wonderful, supportive, uplifting parents and to be cared for by what looks like a devoted staff of nurses and doctors. My prayers are for him to be blessed with health and for his parents to be blessed with joy. I will be tuning in frequently to catch updates on this blog and sharing this blog with my friends too.
XOXOXO
